Nobody slides into cannabis by accident. The Deafening Ziplock story started with love at first light: the moment our founder realized what this plant could achieve when given real respect. No corporate pitch deck, just a deep-seated obsession. Before long, that innocent closet experiment turned into a massive grow tent, swowing his apartment square foot by square foot.

Then California happened.

Fresh out of school, he packed up and moved into the deep end: one of the most competitive cannabis markets on the planet. Years went into hunting elite genetics, dialing in cultivation, and sweating details most people never notice. The scoreboard doesn't lie: seven wins from eight entries at the SoCal Harvest Cup, toe-to-toe with some of the best growers alive.

Then New Mexico called.

Family in Abiquiú. Roots in Northern New Mexico. So he brought everything he'd learned back to the high desert. Now, a state-of-the-art greenhouse runs California-grade technique through living soil built for this land.
 
The result doesn't whisper. It announces itself. We're not just growing cannabis. We're growing the stuff we'd want our own name stamped on, and the stuff we actually smoke.
 
Okay, about that name.

Cannabis wasn't always this polished. No glass jars. No lab results. No QR codes to scan before you spark up. Just a plain plastic bag, handed over with a nickname attached, which is exactly where "a zip" comes from. Ziplock is our nod to that.

Deafening is the other half of the equation. In this world, "loud" already means flower so potent it announces itself the moment the jar cracks. We looked at loud and thought: cute, but not enough. We wanted flower that hits you from across the room before the lid's even off.

Not loud. Deafening.
